Victor Evidence Legal

Terms of Use

Terms for the Victor Evidence website and limited research prototype.

Effective date: September 4, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Victor Evidence website and, where separately approved, the Victor Evidence Medical research prototype. By using the site or submitting a prototype-access request, you agree to these Terms and the incorporated Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Research Prototype

Victor Evidence Medical is an active research and evaluation prototype. It is under development, may change without notice, and may contain errors, omissions, incomplete retrieval, unavailable features, or other limitations. The current implementation contains a subset of the planned VictorMind framework.

2. Intended Audience and Use

The prototype is intended for approved medical, clinical, academic, research, technical, or other qualified professional evaluation. It is not a general-purpose medical chatbot and is designed primarily for medically structured questions and appropriate terminology.

3. No Medical Advice or Clinical Authority

The website and prototype do not provide a substitute for qualified healthcare professionals, independent medical judgment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, emergency care, or other professional services. Users are responsible for independently evaluating important information and inspecting relevant source evidence before acting.

Prototype output does not represent a guarantee of correctness, completeness, safety, clinical validity, regulatory approval, or fitness for a particular medical purpose.

4. Access Applications

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Victor Evidence may verify applicant information, limit the number of participants, approve or decline requests, impose evaluation conditions, or discontinue access.

5. Accounts and Credentials

Where an account is issued, access is limited to the authorized user or organization. Credentials must not be shared or transferred. Users are responsible for safeguarding their account and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

6. Patient and Sensitive Information

Do not submit patient-identifiable information, PHI, medical records, or confidential patient case details through public website forms. Any authorized prototype use involving sensitive information must comply with the controls, agreements, policies, and laws applicable to that approved environment.

7. VictorMind and Victor Evidence Intellectual Property

VictorMind and Victor Evidence are proprietary mathematical and engineered intelligence systems. Patent applications covering aspects of both VictorMind and Victor Evidence are pending.

The website, prototype, software, architecture, theories, equations, methods, evidence-control processes, documentation, interfaces, designs, trademarks, and other materials may be protected by patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, contractual, or other intellectual-property rights.

Access to the website or prototype does not transfer ownership and does not grant a license to reproduce, reverse engineer, derive, disclose, commercialize, or create competing implementations of protected technology except to the extent expressly authorized in writing or required by applicable law.

8. LLM and System Architecture Statement

VictorMind reasoning is governed by its defined theories, equations, and engineered processes. Victor Evidence separately applies its evidence-control architecture to retrieved evidence. LLM components may have bounded supporting roles, including language interpretation and expression, but do not replace VictorMind reasoning or determine Victor Evidence evidence admissibility. This description is informational and does not constitute a performance guarantee.

9. Acceptable Use

You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited conduct includes unauthorized access, interference with the service, credential sharing, attempts to bypass security or access restrictions, and misuse of proprietary technology.

10. Third-Party Sources and Services

The prototype may retrieve or reference information originating from independent medical or scientific sources and may rely on third-party infrastructure or services. Victor Evidence does not control all third-party content, availability, policies, or accuracy. Source materials should be reviewed directly when material to a decision.

11. Availability and Changes

Features, evidence sources, limits, eligibility, architecture, interfaces, and access may be modified, suspended, or discontinued during development. No promise of uninterrupted availability is made.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and prototype are provided for research and evaluation on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties that exceed those expressly required by law. This provision does not exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation and Allocation of Risk

Any limitation-of-liability, indemnification, governing-law, dispute-resolution, or jurisdiction clause should be tailored to the legal entity operating Victor Evidence and reviewed by qualified counsel before production use. No generic clause is inserted here because those provisions depend materially on entity structure, jurisdiction, customers, and deployment model.

14. Termination or Suspension

Access may be suspended or terminated for policy violations, security concerns, misuse, legal risk, patient-safety concerns, or use outside the approved evaluation scope.

15. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be revised as the service evolves. The published version and effective date should be maintained, and material changes should be communicated where required.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be submitted through contact.html.
